Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the meditacious Android app and the website https://meditacious.com, provided by meditacious by Hitesh Sompura ("meditacious", "we", "us"). By installing or using meditacious, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Using meditacious
meditacious is a daily practice of awareness and meditation. It offers short awareness practices with reminders through the day, guided meditations, a daily meditation reminder, and progress, streaks and milestones. The app is distributed as an Android app (APK) from our website.
You must be at least 13 years old to use meditacious. Use the app for your own personal, non-commercial practice.
2. Your account
- You sign in with Google or with an email and password. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Your practice, progress and plan are linked to your account.
- How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Meditation and awareness content
The app includes awareness practices and guided meditations by Hitesh Sompura. Some content is available on the Free plan, and some only on a paid plan. A locked meditation may offer a short preview. We may add, change or remove practices, meditations and other content over time.
Meditations you save for offline use stay on your device and play only within the app.
4. Plans
- Free (₹0): selected practices and meditations, daily reminders, streaks and weekly progress.
- Basic (₹149/month): all Basic practices and meditations, a personal note from Hitesh every day, all reminder options and longer commitments, and the full journey with all milestones.
- Advanced (₹299/month): everything in Basic, all Advanced meditations, and a mindful practice for each day.
Prices are in Indian Rupees and are shown in the app before you pay. We may change plan prices or features; a price change applies only from your next billing period after it is shown in the app.
5. Subscriptions, renewals and cancellation
- Monthly renewal. Basic and Advanced are monthly subscriptions. They renew automatically each month and are charged to the payment method you authorised, until you cancel.
- Cancel anytime. You can cancel in the app (Profile → My Subscription → Cancel subscription). Your plan stays open until the end of the month you have paid for, and you will not be charged again. After that, your account moves to the Free plan.
- Upgrading. When you move from Basic to Advanced, the Advanced subscription starts when its payment goes through, and your Basic subscription is stopped so you are not charged for both.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, your plan may be paused and then moved to Free if payment cannot be completed.
- A plan taken off sale. If we stop offering a plan, members on it keep it until the end of the month they have paid for, are not charged again, and then move to Free.
6. Payments through Razorpay
Payments and subscriptions are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment provider, on its secure payment page. Your payment is also subject to Razorpay's own terms. We do not receive or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank account details.
If you believe you were charged in error, please write to us at meditacious@gmail.com with the date and amount, and we will look into it.
7. Ownership and intellectual property
The app, the meditacious name and logo, and all meditations, awareness practices, audio, text, images and other content are owned by meditacious by Hitesh Sompura or its licensors, and are protected by copyright and other laws. We give you a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use them within the app for your own practice. You may not copy, record, download outside the app, share, sell, publish or otherwise reuse the content without our written permission.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, record or redistribute meditations or other content;
- reverse-engineer, modify or interfere with the app or its services;
- try to get around plan restrictions or payments;
- access other people's accounts or data;
- use meditacious for anything unlawful or harmful.
We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these Terms.
9. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account). Before deletion, the app stops any active subscription so you are not charged again. Your account, profile, practice and progress information are then deleted, and this cannot be undone. Deleting your account does not refund the current paid month. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
10. Not a medical service
meditacious is a practice of awareness and meditation for general well-being. It is not a medical, psychological or therapeutic service, and it does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition. It is not a substitute for advice from a doctor or qualified professional. If you have a health concern, please consult a qualified professional. Practise in a safe place; do not use meditations while driving or operating machinery.
11. Limitation of liability
meditacious is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running well, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, or that reminders will arrive at an exact time on every device. To the extent permitted by law, meditacious by Hitesh Sompura is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for meditacious in the three months before the claim.
12. Changes to the service and these Terms
We may update, change or discontinue parts of meditacious, and we may update these Terms. The "Last Updated" date above shows when they last changed. Important changes will be announced in the app or on this website. If you keep using meditacious after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
